Jordan Plans To Release Two Sets Of Retro 5 Sneakers Within Months Apart
Fans of Michael Jordan's Retro 5 edition sneakers are in luck.
The Nike plans to release two separate colorways starting with the "Grape" version, which debuts next week. Its May 4 release date marks the third time Jordan has retailed the sneakers that first surfaced over twenty-three years ago. The Retro Grape sneaker boasts an all-white colorway with purple and green accents. It also comes equipped with a clear lace lock and an icy blue gum outersole.
Its rival, the "Black Grape," features a soft black nubuck material similar to the black/metallic silver editions. Aside from the material, there aren't many other differences between the two pairs. Jordan has announced these premier versions will be released on June 1.
Each pair are priced at $160 and will be available at Nike Air Jordan retailers across the country.
